About this Talk
I will share my journey of self discovery and awareness and how I freed myself from shame to peace and acceptance for my body after trauma.
Having a negative view around our bodies from either past trauma or societal pressures we can become overly critical and this can lead to lack of self-care and self-love.
Reclaiming love for an un-loved body begins with recognizing that the body is a vessel that carries us through life, it is not the sum of our worth. I will share insights on Self acceptance and the modalities I still use. When we can see we are not broken by changing our relationship with our bodies, this helps us to connect with our authentic self.
Freedom comes when we stop seeing our bodies through a lens of criticism and instead embrace them with self acceptance and compassion, knowing that we are beautiful in every way, just as we are is the key to transforming our relationship with our bodies.
